Tint visualizer
See it before we tint it.
Tap a shade and watch the glass change, right here in the shop. The lower the number, the darker the film.
No tint: clear factory glass.
Preview only. The real shade depends on your car's glass and the light, so Jay will show you film samples before he starts.
Film we install
Premium products at a competitive price.
We don't just apply film; we understand the tech behind it. Next-gen nano-ceramic films and hydrophobic coatings built for humid Philly summers and salt-heavy winters.
Powder coating
Your wheels, a whole new finish.
Dull, dirty or faded wheels can get a fresh finish with powder coating. Drop them off with us, pick the look you want, and we handle it from there. Starting at $1,000, and it takes about two days.

After googling shops to get my car windows tinted, I'm glad I came across Tint IQ. I consulted with the owner, Jay, before any work was done and he was very helpful. The tint came out perfect. Jay was even able to finish the tint within a couple hours of drop off.

I've owned several cars in my lifetime and I've gotten just about all of them tinted. This was the most professional experience I've had yet. He told me how long it would take, what materials he uses and how to take care of it. The price was great, his shop is very clean and modern.

I got my windows tinted here about two years ago and wanted to wait to see how they held up. My windows are perfect. No imperfections, no issues at all, still over two years later.

Very satisfied with my chameleon and dark tint by Jay. Very professional, authentic with his work and knowledgeable. He has examples of what the tints look like in his shop and can easily refer to his work from videos and photos of cars he's done.

Questions, answered.
What people ask Jay most. Anything else, call or text (484) 447-2380.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and cash.
What is the Pennsylvania tint law?
Tint laws differ from state to state. In Pennsylvania, check PennDOT's window tint rules before you go dark, and ask us which shades work on your car.
How long does it take to tint a car?
Usually 1 to 4 hours, depending on the car, how clean the glass is and how many windows we tint. If you can, drop the car off and pick it up when it's done. More on timing.
What should I use to clean my tinted windows?
Warm water and two microfiber towels: one to clean and one to dry, for a streak-free finish. Skip window cleaners with ammonia. They can change the color of the film.
Why do I see bubbles or hazy patches after installation?
That's normal. Water activates the adhesive and lets us position the film. We squeeze most of it out, but a little stays between the glass and the film. As it evaporates you may see small bubbles or foggy patches. They clear up in a few days, or up to two weeks in colder months. Don't poke or pop them. They go away on their own.
Can window tint be removed?
Yes, any time, but it's a tough and messy job. It's best left to a pro with the right tools. Doing it yourself can damage things like the rear defroster.
Will tinted windows reduce my visibility?
At night it depends on the shade and the quality of the film. A very dark tint, like 5% limo tint, cuts visibility a lot. If that's a concern, go with a lighter or medium shade.
Is window tint applied inside or outside?
Automotive window film goes on the inside surface of the glass, where it stays protected from the elements.
What causes bubbling or purple tint on car windows?
Old or low-quality film. Bubbles mean the adhesive has failed and the film is lifting off the glass. The purple color and fading come from sun exposure on a film with a less durable dye.
How durable is window tint?
Window film has a hard, scratch-resistant coating made for everyday use, including rolling the windows up and down. Resistant is not scratch-proof, though. Even glass scratches. Take care when loading things with sharp edges and when you let go of a seatbelt. Small nicks from those are not covered by the warranty.
What kind of tint do you use?
Rayno window films, in two levels of protection: Phantom S5 and S9 full ceramic. They don't interfere with cell phones, radios, GPS or other electronics in the car. The film has a limited lifetime warranty against adhesion failure, peeling, bubbling and blistering. See the S5 and S9 packages.
Do I need to wait to roll my windows down?
Yes. Keep the windows up for at least 24 to 36 hours after the install, longer in cold weather. That gives the film time to cure and stick to the glass before the window moves.
Is window tint illegal?
Tint that doesn't follow your state's rules can get you a ticket, so tint to your state's law. In Pennsylvania, PennDOT is a good source for the window tint rules.
