Headlight Restoration

From cloudy to clear

Clear Visibility. Safer Driving. Superior Value.

Foggy or yellowed headlights are more than just an eyesore. They are a serious safety hazard. Dim, oxidized lenses dramatically reduce your nighttime visibility, putting you and others on the road at risk. But replacing an entire headlight assembly can easily cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

We offer a long-lasting, factory-grade solution.

Unlike quick-fix kits that simply polish over damaged surfaces, our process completely removes built-in oxidation down to the bare lens. We then apply an original equipment (OE) formula UV-cured hard coat that chemically bonds directly to the polycarbonate. This restores your headlights to original, crystal-clear clarity with a protective seal built to withstand years of harsh weather and UV rays.

Key Benefits:

  • Maximum Clarity: Restores full brightness and light output.
  • Enhanced Road Safety: Improves night visibility and reaction time.
  • Cost-Effective: A fraction of the cost of buying and installing new headlights.
  • Factory-Grade Protection: Uses an OE-matched UV-cured coating, not a temporary wipe.
  • Long-Lasting Results: Protection designed to last for years, not months.

How we do it

Jay looks at your headlights first and tells you honestly what restoration can and can't fix on your car. Then every lens goes through the same five steps:

  1. Clean & prep. The lens is thoroughly cleaned and the surrounding bodywork is masked off to protect the paint.
  2. Machine sanding. The lens is machine-sanded to remove the damaged layers, severe oxidation and surface scratches.
  3. UV ceramic coating. A UV-fortified ceramic hard coat goes on to shield the lens against future sun damage and yellowing.
  4. UV lamp curing. The ceramic coat is cured with a high-intensity UV lamp to lock in a solid, durable protective barrier.
  5. Final polish & inspection. The lens is polished to full optical clarity for maximum brightness and safety on the road.

Why it matters

  • Looks. Clear lenses make the whole front of the car look newer.
  • Light. A cloudy lens lets less light through. Clearing it up helps your headlights do their job at night.
  • Selling or trading in. Clean, clear headlights help a car show better.

Questions

Can every headlight be restored?

Most hazy or yellowed lenses clean up well. Restoration works on the outside of the lens, so it won't fix moisture inside the housing, a cracked lens or a bulb that's out. Jay will tell you before any work starts.

Should I restore or replace my headlights?

If the damage is on the surface, restoration brings back the lens you already have. If the housing is cracked or has water inside, replacement may be the better call, and Jay will tell you which one makes sense.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

Usually 1 to 2 hours, depending on how bad the lenses are. For a price, send a photo of your headlights or stop by and Jay will take a look.
